FY 2005 Appropriation for LIHEAP Increased to $2.18 Billion

The FY 2005 appropriation for LIHEAP increased regular funds from $1.789 billion plus $99.4 million in emergency funds in FY 2004 to $1.9 billion in regular funds plus $300 million in emergency funds. The FY 2005 appropriation also includes a 0.08 percent across the board cut - bringing the total FY 2005 appropriation to $1.885 billion plus $297.6 million on emergency funds for a total increase of 15.5%.
