Senate Appropriations Committee Cuts LIHEAP by $1.1 Billion

Senate Appropriations Committee provided $2.161 billion for LIHEAP for FY 2007, $1.98 billion for the regular grant, the same level as provided in FY 2006 before the supplemental and $50 million higher than the level provided by the House bill, and $181 million in contingency funds, the same level as provided by the House bill.
