House/Senate Supplemental Appropriations Bills Add FY 07 Funding

The attached table provides state-by-state listings for LIHEAP for FY 07 under the CR and the additional funds that are included under the House and Senate supplemental spending bills. The House bill provides $400 million ($200 million basic grant/$200 million contingency); the Senate bill provides $640 million ($320 million basic grant/$320 million contingency). The assumption is that contingency funds would be allocated to the states that receive minimal funding under the two bills, primarily those states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Northwest.
