AppropriationsSenate Provides Level Funding for FY 07June 21, 2007The Senate Appropriations Committee provided $2.162 billion for FY 2008, the same level as provided for FY 2007. The bill includes $1.98 billion in block grant and $181.7 million in contingency funds. The House Committee passed bill provides the same level of block grant funding but provides $500 million more in contingency for a total of $681.7 million in contingency funding. |
