Congress Approves $2.57 Billion for LIHEAP, Increase of $408.6 Million

The FY 08 Omnibus Appropriations bill maintains block grant funding at $1.98 billion and increases contingency funding from the $181.17 million level that was provided in FY 07 to $590.3 million for an increase of $408.6 million.
